In this article, I’ll explain what a Product Manager has to think about when writing PRDs. As you might know, PRDs is a product requirement document. In general, Product Manager is responsible for writing it to communicate with stakeholders such as engineer, designer, marketer and Board member.

Contents of PRDs are not defined formally. Most organizations have their own format.

Many experienced Product Managers have shared useful templates of PRDs. You would be able to start writing with these templates.

It's important that you understand their thinking and not only copy their templates.
